When I first heard the song "Door" by Caroline Polachek, I was blown away. I was profoundly blown away. Lump-in-my-throat blown away. And if you haven't heard this song yet, I wish I could be sitting next to you to watch you respond to this song. If I'm home and this song comes on, I'm gonna be excited if you're listening. This song is gorgeous, emotive. I haven't quite heard a song like it that uses repeating a word to a certain emotional effect.
